Title Sponsor to the GBR 470 Girls Sailing Team
Matrix are supporting Christina Bassadone and Saskia Clark's Olympic Sailing Campaign, challenging for gold at Beijing 2008 in the Girls 470 Sailing Class. The 470 team won a bronze medal in Cascais at the combined World Championship this year which helped the British sailing team retain the President’s Cup as the top performing nation with 2 gold and 4 bronze medals. Christina and Saskia have now fulfilled the first set of criteria for their own selection. For more information please visit their website.
Matrix Sponsor the Matrix Universities Skeleton Challenge
The Matrix Universities Skeleton Challenge which ran from 9th - 12th December in Lillehammer was deemed a great success by all the 32 students who competed who were very brave and extremely enthusiastic. The fastest three on race-day won a trip to compete in St Moritz, in February!

Matrix - by supporting the sport of Skeleton gave university students a rare and affordable opportunity to experience and become competent in a sport that most people only get the chance to watch on TV. Working with the British Bob Skeleton Association and SYS The Ultimate Event Company students may have the chance to go onto compete at an international standard.
Matrix Skeleton Challenge - St Moritz 2008, 2009, 2010....
The Matrix Skeleton Challenge is an annual event where teams from the financial world compete against each other on the bob skeleton on the St Moritz bobsleigh track. 2008 was the second year and again a huge success with brave souls hurtling down the track at speeds of up to 117km/h testing their nerves to the limit....but thoroughly enjoying it along the way.
The event will be held in 2009 from 1st to 4th February in St Moritz. If you are interested in entering a team and finding out more details and the cost then please email Natasha.
Matrix Sponsor the GBR 420 Sailing Class
Matrix provided sponsorship to the British 420 team entry in the 2007 World Championship in New Zealand and the 420 Class Open Training programme in Hayling Island in August 2007.
