The investment funds team at Matrix Corporate Capital is a 14-strong specialist closed ended funds team. The team members have extensive experience in the investment funds sector and the senior members of the team have all worked together for some 10 years or more.
This is an integrated team comprising sales, research, market making and corporate finance.
We are brokers to some 50 investment funds, a number of which were successfully launched by the team.
Our clients include investment trusts, venture capital trusts and closed ended funds incorporated off-shore, typically in the Channel Islands.
As a matter of policy, we make a market only in those investment funds to which we act as corporate broker.
The team’s principal focus is on primary and secondary distribution supported by in depth research. Dedicated corporate finance advice is also provided and we have developed expertise in advising funds on corporate reconstructions whether initiated by the board of directors or brought about at the behest of shareholders.
