At Matrix Private Equity Partners we seek investment opportunities that offer an attractive financial return. We look at the company's risk profile as well as looking for clear evidence of a balanced, talented management team with integrity, determination, focus and the capacity to be able to significantly increase shareholder value.
Matrix’s focus is MBOs and we seek investment opportunities as follows:
- Business: We consider established, profitable companies operating in most commercial and industrial sectors.
- Size: We can lead investments which require up to £10 million equity. Investment from our advised funds is up to £7 million and the majority of equity investments we make are around £4 million.
- Location: We invest in businesses located throughout the UK.
- Characteristics: We like companies with clear and sustainable competitive advantage in their markets.
- Ambition: We look to back balanced, experienced management teams committed to create and realise significant value for all shareholders.
- Relationship: We are an experienced independent investor that builds close, long term relationships and we offer active support post investment.
