Summer Internship Programme

Our Summer Internship programmes for undergraduates are designed to give you an exciting and challenging work experience where you will gain valuable insight into the financial services industry and develop skills for your future career.

During this six week internship you will be part of the team gaining hands on experience in one of our core business areas.

Business Project

Work is likely to be project based under the supervision of a senior member of the team.  We’ll give you on the job training so that you can really contribute and feedback on your performance.

There are 5 core areas of our business where internships are available:-

  • Commercial Property
  • Private Equity Fund Placement
  • Investment Banking (Corporate Capital)
  • Cash and Enhanced Cash Funds
  • Fund of Hedge Funds

Details of your package

Your salary during the internship will be equivalent to £14,040 per annum, which amounts to £270 per week, less any deductions we are required to make by law.

Minimum Requirements

Before applying, please make sure that you meet the following minimum requirements of the programme:

  • A minimum 2.1 honours degree or equivalent (predicted).
  • You need to be an undergraduate student in your penultimate year at University.
  • A minimum of two months’ customer-related work experience (this could include face-to-face or telephone interaction with the public/customers/clients. This can be part-time or voluntary and need not be a continuous two month period).
  • A minimum of grade C for both Mathematics and English Language GCSE (or equivalent).

The deadline for applications for summer 2008 is 31st March, but early application is advisable, as we will close once we have filled all our vacancies.
