Structured Finance

John Hardy is the Managing Director of Matrix Structured Finance. He spent the first 20 years of his career as a financier and producer of feature films, then going on to become Head of Media at Durlacher Ltd the specialist investment bank, where he was responsible for leading 12 IPOs and raising over £100 million in equity. Since joining Matrix in 2001 he has been responsible for $2 billion of film sale and leaseback transactions. More recently MSF has been responsible for creating leveraged commercial investment opportunities for high net worth investors. Recent examples have been Vaccine Research and Vehicle financing.

Donald Mackinnon has been with Matrix since 1993, becoming Sales Director in 1996. He has been responsible for much of the sales success of Matrix's principal products over the last 10 years, developing VCT, EIS and Film Sale and Leaseback from niche products to mainstream tax-efficient investment solutions.

Guy Russell is Finance Officer of Matrix Structured Finance. He qualified as an accountant with Touche Ross and subsequently spent a number of years as a Finance Director in the insurance industry. Before joining Matrix he was Finance Director of European Business Press.

James Hindle is Sales Manager for Matrix Structured Finance. He is the first point of call for prospective investors and intermediaries. James joined Matrix from a leading intermediary in January 2004.

Robert is responsible for the legal affairs of Matrix Structured Finance and his primary role is to co-ordinate the legal aspects of the structured finance products, including drafting promotional and transactional documentation. Prior to joining Matrix he was a partner at the London firm of solicitors, Davenport Lyons. Robert is also admitted as an attorney in South Africa and before joining Davenport Lyons in 1997 was a partner in the Johannesburg law firm, Bell Dewar & Hall.

Ahmad, Financial Accountant, joined Matrix in September 2005. He is an ACCA with over three years in practice and experience in the hotel trade. Ahmad deals with accounting and administration for Matrix Structured Finance partnerships and companies, VAT registration, tax issues and other partnership related areas.

Frances Vidulich joined Matrix in August 2000 working for the Registrars. She is now with Matrix Structured Finance as Client Liaison representative.
