Marketing Executive – Innovative Financial Services Company

Description: An opportunity to join a marketing team promoting a number of financial products including Funds of Hedge Funds, Structured Products and Venture Capital Trusts. The main focus will be Matrix’ rapidly expanding Fund of Hedge Fund business that currently has approximately £800m under management. The successful applicant will work in the joint marketing and operations team alongside a sales team that currently numbers 9 and an in house fund of hedge funds management team.

The Role: As Marketing Executive for the Matrix Retail Investment Team, your key responsibilities will be to:

• update all marketing literature for all our range of products on a monthly basis
• react to Sales Team requests for specific marketing materials to assist them in the sale of the range of Matrix products
• maintain division’s website
• liaise with Hedge Fund Mangers on a regular basis
• liaise with various Stock Exchanges
• maintain and manage distribution lists
• analyse fund & market performance

Key requirements:

• Strong numeracy & analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Educated to degree level
• Must be a self motivated & pro active
• Must be proficient in MS applications – particularly MS Excel and MS Word
• Basic knowledge of Financial Markets
