Rob is a Director of the Matrix Group Limited and is the Managing Member of MPFM. Rob joined Matrix in 1996 and has been responsible for developing the Matrix business in structuring, syndicating and managing commercial property investments. Prior to joining Matrix, Rob has had 10 years experience in the property finance industry, in particular concentrating on Enterprise Zone Investments.

Ian joined MPFM in July 2001 where he has assumed responsibility for the acquisition of property investments. Ian was previously at Drivers Jonas as an Investment Partner and Director of its Financial Services Company. Ian left after 9 years at Drivers Jonas and has in total over 24 years' experience in private practise as a surveyor and management consultant.

Peter is Head of Asset Management and joined the Property Division in August 2010. He has over 30 years experience in the property industry and was previously the European Portfolio Manager at Citi Property Investors where he was responsible for managing three leveraged property funds. Prior to this, Peter worked at Citi Private Bank as Vice President of Global Real Estate Investment Origination and at both BZW Investment Banking as a Director of the Property Advisory Group and at BZW Property Investment Management as an Investment Director.

Ellison joined Matrix in January 2007 and is the CFO of the Matrix Property Funds for the UK, Matrix No1 Unit Trust (UK), single property UK syndications and Europe (MEREIT). Transactions include the raising of £170m through the MEREIT IPO listing on the LSE, the re-financing of multi jurisdictional single term debt facility of 17 bilateral loans and the sale of the IZD Tower SPV. He joined from DTZ where he was involved in strategic portfolio appraisals, trading based valuations, corporate property portfolio valuations and valuations on a PropCo OpCo basis for specific financing requirements. Multibillion pound valuations were prepared for defence strategy, raising of debt, re-financing and portfolio sales. Ellison is a qualified ACA and a registered person. A science graduate from Oxford University, he trained for 3.5 years within the Banking & Capital Markets Group at PwC.

Scott moved to MPFM in 2007 to act as Fund Manager for MEREIT. He joined after working for 14 years within the investment team at Drivers Jonas where he was the Partner in charge of in-house fund management. His role encompassed advising on investment strategy, acquisitions, disposals and asset management initiatives for a variety of clients.

Karl joined MPFM in November 2010 as Fund Accountant for the European, U.K. and Middle East property funds, primarily focusing on Matrix European Real Estate Investment Trust Limited. He is a Mathematics graduate and qualified Chartered Accountant, and has previously gained experience working for Babcock & Brown and Henderson Global Investments. Karl has more than 6 years experience in Investment Management accounting across various asset classes.

Rick joined Matrix in 2009 to establish its real estate finance and debt fund platform. Rick has 15 years experience in securitisation and banking and was latterly Head of Commercial Real Estate, Structured Securitisation within Lloyds Banking Group. Prior to that he was Head of Commercial Real Estate Capital Markets at HBOS Treasury Plc, managing the bank’s CMBS and property loan syndication teams. Rick started his structured finance career in Lloyds Bank Brazil, moving back to London in 1997 to join ING Barings’ securitisation team.

Dipen joined Matrix in January 2011 from Lloyds Banking Group where he was a Senior Analyst in the Business Support Unit, assisting in the management, restructuring and turn-around of commercial real estate loans and operating businesses that were real-estate backed. Prior to Lloyds, Dipen spent three years at Anglo Irish Bank Corporation in their Structured Finance division.

Doug Friend joined Matrix in May 2005, from the Montpellier Group where he was involved with a variety of asset management initiatives. Doug has a degree in Business and a Masters Degree in Surveying. Over the past 4 years Doug has undertaken a large disposal programme of Matrix Syndicated assets, in addition to which he is now responsible for residential development acquisitions. Doug has 7 years real estate experience.

Nat joined Matrix in May 2004 as a Commercial Property Manager having previously gained a diverse range of experience in Facilities Management. He was the Operations Manager for a large residential portfolio in London, before settling into commercial property and his career has incorporated both medical and leisure management. Nat now plays an active role in the day to day management of the portfolio and enhancement of asset value.

Bharat qualified as an Accountant with a small/medium sized accounting firm in 2000 and attained his Investment Advice Certificate issued by the Securities Institute in 2005. He joined Matrix in September 2001 as Group Financial and Management Accountant having gained five years audit and accounts experience, specializing in owner managed businesses. He moved to the Property team in 2011.

Andrew is CEO of Matrix Property Middle East and is based in the Dubai office. Andrew undertook an MBO of Kenmore Property Group’s Middle East business in 2009, having set up their regional office out of Dubai in 2006 where he acted as Head of Middle East and Main Board Director. Prior to joining Kenmore in 1998, Andrew accrued significant investment and development experience from previous roles at Sun Life Properties and Hill Samuel Asset Management.

Will joined Matrix Property Middle East LLP in March 2010. Previously Will worked for 3 years in Kenmore Property Group’s Middle East office in Dubai as Investment Director and latterly as General Manager. Will is a chartered surveyor with 22 years experience in Hong Kong, London and Scotland where he worked for a number of leading property consultancies including JLL prior to returning to Scotland in 1996 to jointly set up and run his own co-investing property investment and development consultancy business for 11 years.

Phil joined Matrix in March 2010 as part of the Kenmore Property Group Middle East acquisition, where he had worked since August 2007 as Development Director. Phil maintains the role for Matrix Middle East with operational control for all development projects. With 15 years in property and development, 10 years in London and five in the GCC, Phil has a wide range experience where his career has incorporated developing across all property sectors. In Dubai he was project leader for a 35million sqft residential development and senior manager on The Mall of Emirates and Kempinski Hotel for Mace International.

Oliver joins Matrix from Kenmore Property Group’s Middle East business where he had been Development and Investment Manager in Dubai since May 2008. With over five years of investment and development knowledge in various sectors, gained in both the Middle East and the UK, Oliver has excellent experience of contributing to and leading high profile mixed-use developments and investment portfolio acquisitions. He is currently focused on sourcing, analysing and structuring opportunities for the new GCC targeted fund.

Piali joined Matrix in February 2010 as Legal Associate having previously trained at SJ Berwin LLP. Piali is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales with experience in Corporate Finance (more specifically Private Equity Fund Formation and Equity Capital Markets - Corporate Real Estate) as well as Commercial Real Estate and Litigation. Prior to completing her training contract, Piali worked as a paralegal in the City, gaining experience in Asset and Acquisition Finance.

Rebecca joined Matrix in 2006. She works as assistant to Rob Randall and Ian Blake. Her previous experience is in the media industry.

Emma joined Matrix in January 2010. She previously worked as a Personal Assistant at Wellington Management and before this held similar roles in various other financial and retail organisations.

Mae joined Matrix in March 2010 as part of the Kenmore Property Group Middle East acquisition, where she had worked since December 2007 as Office Manager. Mae has gained a total of 7 years of administration experience and is an invaluable support to the Middle East team.

Junaith joined Matrix in March 2010 as part of the Kenmore Property Group Middle East acquisition, where he worked since July 2007 as PRO Driver. Junaith has a variety of job responsibilities as well as taking care of the Dubai office’s licenses & permits applications.
